September 1st The Academy Exams state certification program for Florida water-based fire protection system inspectors was acquired by Recertifire and is under new ownership. There is no disruption of status for current certificate holders; 16-hour renewals are still due June 30, 2018.
The American Fire Sprinkler Association-FL is hosting a 24- hour, three-day NFPA 25 intense study with practice tests as the ultimate preparation for any student taking their Level I or Level II Water-Based Inspector exam and is suitable for NICET and Academy students. November 7-9
The Academy is offering Level I and Level II exams Friday November 10th. The Academy Exams is based upon the 2011 edition of NFPA 25. Register separately for exams and get details on test times and location at www.academyexams.com. American Fire Sprinkler Association is not affiliated with The Academy Exams.
NICET students should arrange to take their exam on Saturday 11th or soon thereafter. NICET students should bring their 2014 ed of NFPA 25.
